Hotspots

The East Baltimore Community Corporation offers the Hotspots After School Prevention Program, which provides services for school children in grades fourth through sixth Monday to Thursday.

Services provided include academic and computer skills training, homework assistance, recreational activities, trips and life skills sessions such as:

  • Reduce barriers to successful movement in the traditional school system
  • Reduce negative behavior and adjustment in school environment
  • Provide motivational skills and positive attitude toward school
  • Open lines of communication to foster positive levels of communication is school and in the family
  • Address conflict resolution and anger management, problem solving, violence resolution, peer pressure

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
